La atencion de los propios dueños que han sido muy acogedores y tambien el lugar lo es, compartimos con ellos y denota una continua preocuapcion por mejorar y atender bien.cuenta con internet que es gran cosa para ese lugar.

Puedo decir que me ha gustado la ubicacion, y la habitacion estaba bien, pero el baño era chico teniendo en cuenta que saque una ¨habitacion doble superior¨. No puedo decir nada mas...

Estuvimos 5 dias, de los cuales 3 nos levantamos por la mañana para comer un rico desayuno y resulta que no habia cafe ni leche, por ende habia que avisarle a la dueña para que elle se tome 10 minutos para llenar los termos (un desastre!!!) y no olvido los 3 pan lactal que habia. En la habitacion habia un plasma inmenso, pero resulta que andaban 5 canales y 2 con lluvia. Me da bronca pagar lo que pague, que no fue poco y que me tomen el pelo. En cuanto a la super amabilidad de los dueños, nunca tuve la oportunidad de notarlo. Todos los dias por la mañana la dueña lo unico que me preguntaba era de que habitacion eramos para mandar a ¨limpiar¨ la habitacion.

My stay at the Pousada Siant Germain was excellent. The staff, led by a Brazilian-US couple, was very helpful in any way. One example: my tv wasn't working properly. It was fixed at the first opportunity. Another example: my next destination was another locality nearby: Paul, the co- owner, helped me locate a pousada there and explained to me how to get there by public transport. He's into jazz, so you won't hear the boom-boom- boom that emanates from nearby pousadas or venues, That's another great thing: the pousada Saint Germain is located on the lower part of a green hill in Buzios, about 4 or 500 metres from either the centre or the Orla Bardot, so all the noise pollution coming from discos and beach venues doesn't reach the rooms. If on its northern side the pousada looks like any other modern building (but the access is handy when coming from the Orla Bardot), from the other side it has an almost-Mediterranean feel to it, with Tuscan-like architecture, overhanging plants, a small but clean pool and a terraced garden dotted with exotic plants. Breakfast is typically Brazilian, so you have plenty of fruit, ham and cheese, jam, bread and cakes of all sorts. The pousada is small in size (I think it has 12 rooms in all), so there is no danger of your holiday being hijacked by an army of noisy revellers (it does happen elsewhere in Buzios). The rooms are good is size, mine had a mosquito net for the bed and hot water was always available. English speaker would be thrilled to meet Paul. Apart from speaking English (obviously!) and Portuguese, he knows the are well and give you all sort of tips about Buzios and surroundings. And has some interesting stories of his own to tell, too. To sum it up, a very enjoyable experience.

Even if hard-pressed, I couldn't find anything negative to write about the pousada.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pousada Saint Germain! Great location very close to restaurants and beaches. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. Wi-Fi and mosquito-protection in the room! Great value for the price.

Rustically, friendly pousada in walking distance to the city center of Buzios. Quiet area of the city. Nice sun terrace with a pool. Breakfast ok.

Location is good and peole very friendly. The setting and flwoers are very pleasant.

Somehwat inconvenient that have to go down through hotel to reception.Toilet often got blocked which bit of nuisance.

The owners,Paul and Suely, and the staff are the bedste at the hotel. Really , they are the essence at that pousada. Nice to talk to and always willing to assist you.

The location of this pousada is perfect! It is close to the central area, within walking distance to many great beaches and yet has an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. It is a simple pousada, clean and comfortable but not a luxury resort. It is located near many much more expensive hotels and thus provides the ultimate in value for the money. The staff was extremely accomodating, making many arrangements for us and giving us suggestions as to where to eat and what to do. The gardens were lovely and full of tropical flowering plants.

The pousada is simply stunning--gorgeous trees, plants, and wildlife (hummingbirds fluttered about as I was in the pool)! The international staff was very nice and accommodating as well.

Had a lovely time at Pousada Saint Germain during a 4-day stay. The setting is very nice and the location is excellent: it's on a quiet road but is only a couple of minutes from the promenade that leads you to the centre of Buzios (5-7 minutes away). We got a great welcome from Paul and he immediately gave us lots of good advice on the area. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were very clean.

Maybe it's a European thing, but it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in our room.

I liked everything at this hotel (pousada): beautiful surrounding, comfort and especially the staff (we became real friends) and in general my staying in wonderful! Buzios was unforgettable!

Pousada Saint Germain was excellent value for money for its location, only 5 minutes to the beach and restaurants. Its staff were friendly and its American owner was very helpful if you are an English speaking person who can not speak Portuguese.

Amerikanske ägaren Paul och hans brasilianska fru tar emot en med varm hand, Paul berättar om allt som är värt att veta om ön. Alltifrån bra restauranger till bra stränder. Supermysig pousada med bra läge, ligger fantastiskt i lummig miljö, nära centrum, men ändå avskilt från byns partyliv.

Frukosten är ok, men inte jättebra.
